The short version

Your sales export is analysed in your own browser, so you see your numbers without waiting on us. The file is also sent to our server, which reads it to calculate summary figures and then discards it — we do not keep a copy. The one exception is a file we could not read: we keep that for up to 90 days so we can add support for its format. We never sell your data, and we never publish or share another seller’s figures.

What we collect

  • The file you upload, for as long as it takes to read it. A Whatnot sales export typically contains your buyers’ usernames, the items they bought, order timestamps and their shipping addresses. We calculate your figures from it and then discard it — unless we could not read it, in which case we keep it and tell you so on the screen.
  • Summary statistics calculated from that file — totals, averages, counts and dates. These contain no names, usernames, addresses or product titles.
  • Your email address, only if you ask us to email you a report, along with whether you ticked the box agreeing to hear about new features.
  • Ordinary server logs. We log identifiers and counts. We do not log file contents, and email addresses are masked.

About your buyers’ data

An export contains personal information about other people. We use it only to produce your report — never to contact your buyers, and never to build a profile of them. By uploading, you confirm you are entitled to share that export with a service acting on your behalf.

How long we keep it

  • Uploaded files we could read: not kept at all. The file exists only in memory while we calculate your figures, and is never written to storage.
  • Uploaded files we could not read: 90 days. We keep these to work out which export format they use and add support for it. Deletion is automatic and enforced by our storage provider, not by a manual process. Nobody outside our team ever sees them.
  • Summary statistics: kept indefinitely. They are aggregates and cannot be traced back to a buyer.
  • Your email address: kept until you ask us to remove it.

Who else is involved

Google Cloud hosts the service and stores unreadable files, in the United States. Our email provider delivers the report you request. We also load Google’s ads measurement tag, which counts visits and successful analyses so we know whether our advertising works — it receives no file contents and nothing about your buyers. That is the entire list; there are no other analytics trackers on this site.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your summary statistics, your email address and any unreadable file we kept, or to send you a copy of what we hold. Email support@liveseller.ai and we will action it. Marketing email is opt-in and every message has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing never stops a report you asked for.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will update the date above. Continuing to use the calculator means the current version applies.
